Couple found dead in Fort Worth apartment in apparent murder-suicide

FORT WORTH, Texas – Fort Worth police are investigating after a welfare check at an apartment on Remington Circle ended with the discovery of two people dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

The Discovery

According to police, officers were called to an apartment in the 5700 block of Remington Circle on Tuesday after a woman’s employer became concerned when she did not report to work. After forcing entry, officers found the bodies of a couple in the living room.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victims as Tiffney Monee Wilson, 46, and Johnny Antonio Perrin, 48. Police said the two were in a dating relationship.

Cause of Death

The medical examiner ruled Wilson died from a gunshot wound to the head. Perrin also died from a gunshot wound to the head, with his death officially ruled a suicide.
