The Elkhart, Illinois community is mourning the loss of Andrew Liesman, who passed away on January 2, 2026. Andrew, a devoted son, loving partner to Alyssa Beutow, and cherished friend, leaves behind a legacy of passion, determination, and an unmistakable spirit.
From an early age, Andrew displayed a remarkable talent for mechanics, particularly diesel engines, earning admiration for his skill, dedication, and willingness to tackle any challenge. His love for loud trucks, hands-on work, and high-energy music reflected his bold and adventurous nature.
Beyond his mechanical pursuits, Andrew found joy in the outdoors, especially hunting and spending time at Papa’s Farm in Pike County, Illinois—a place he held close to his heart. Family was central to his life; he shared a deep bond with his mother Becky Beggs, stepfather Brad Beggs, grandparents, and extended family.
Andrew’s partner Alyssa and their unborn daughter, Oaklynn Marie, will carry his memory forward, a testament to the enduring love and legacy he leaves behind. Friends and family remember him for his courage, loyalty, and zest for life.
