
HAMTRAMCK, Mich. – The Hamtramck Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 44-year-old woman last seen nearly a week ago.
The missing person has been identified as Linda Ward.
Last Known Sighting and Description
Ward was last seen leaving Whiskey in the Jar at 2741 Yemans Street in Hamtramck at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
She was reported missing by family on Sunday, December 14, after friends and family were unable to contact her.
Ward was last seen wearing a cream-colored knit coat and a multi-colored scarf.
Possible Location and Circumstances
A key detail from the investigation is that Ward is believed to be living in her vehicle. She may be traveling in a silver 2019 Ford Escape with Michigan license plate EQG0213.
She is also believed to have her two dogs with her, both described as Huskies.
Police have stated that there is no current reason to suspect foul play or suspicious circumstances, but they are concerned for her welfare and are investigating her disappearance as an endangered missing persons case.
