Amarillo, Texas — The city of Amarillo is struggling to process the tragic death of Brynnlee Hampton, a 15-year-old student and athlete who lost her life in a shooting early Thursday morning. The Amarillo Police Department has confirmed the incident and stated that a homicide investigation is currently underway, a development that has deeply shaken the community.
Police said officers responded to a call about a shooting during the early hours of the morning and discovered Brynnlee suffering from critical injuries.
