Milford, MI – Milford police arrested a 29-year-old Sterling Heights man on Wednesday after a 26-year-old man was found dead inside his Summit Street home, authorities reported. The victim’s body was discovered just west of Commerce Street after police were called for a welfare check when his girlfriend was unable to reach him.
Police confirmed that the two men knew each other and said the killing was not random. Investigators noted that the victim sustained injuries consistent with a violent attack. The suspect was taken into custody the same night.
